There hardly is a more central accommodation in the Dresden Old Town than this hotel. All sights like Frauenkirche church, Semperoper, or Zwinger Palace are only a few minutes’ walk away. A stroll over the Augustusbrücke bridge rewards with a breathtaking panorama of the city.

Freeway A 4 Exit Dresden-Altstadt – follow the sign-posting Zentrum up to the Terrassenufer (river Elbe to the left, big fortress to the right). On the end of the fortress turn right in the street Hasenberg. On the top of the hill on the right side you see a yellow house; this is the Hofgärtnerhaus.

Sehr zentrale Lage zur Frauenkirche. Charme einer gepflegten Jugendherberge mit Aufenthaltsräume, Terrasse und kleiner Küche.Gemütliche Zimmer mit viel Holz eingerichtet. Gepflegter Gesamteindruck.

Hotel Hofgärtnerhaus is a wonderfully renovated old building. High ceilings, wing doors, and windows with glazing bars maintain the special charm of the past, while modern furniture and simple wall colours give it a touch of the present. Your satisfaction is paramount here, and is guaranteed by the courteous staff. On the ground floor is the bistro Brühlscher Garten that serves a fresh breakfast.
There are two large public parking spaces („Schießgasse“ and „Unter der Carolabrücke“) nearby, where you can park your car for 12 respectly 6 € a day. Moreover, two underground car parks are available for parking. You may check-in from 2-7 pm. An earlier or later arrival is also possible, just give us a call in advance ++++ Attention: The city of Dresden charges an overnight stay tax on the room accommodation rate from 01.07.2015, which needs to be paid by the guests. This tax is NOT INLCUDED in the HRS rates and needs to be paid additionally in the hotel.
